Brief: Ensuring that the elderly takes their medication, correctly, on time and in the right quantity

Objective of this blog showcase

The main objective of this blog showcase is to celebrate and affirm the multimedia presentation (MMP) works done by the Year 1, (2012 batch) students of the School of Science and Technology (SST), Singapore, for their Elderly Challenge project, in the Art, Design, Media and Technology (ADMT) subject area.

These works are the culmination of the students' paired efforts in uncovering their understanding and application of the Challenge-Based Learning (CBL) framework of the theme 'The Elderly Challenge'. Though the primary aim is to propose an elderly-friendly product experience, elements of innovation, entrepreneurship and media literacy are also encouraged to give the SST student a holistic approach to the idea of Applied Learning.

It is hoped that through the students' exposure to the challenges faced by the elderly in the context of a developed country like Singapore, thy would be more aware of the situation and future environment that they are in, and would be in.

So do take some time to look through the multimedia presentations done creatively by the students from the various classes for their proposed products and/or solutions, and enjoy their efforts.
